Soft Tissue Therapy (STT)

Covers a range of different treatment modalities used by a Myotherapist with the aim of treating muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Promotes mobility of stiff, immobile soft tissues and aids to promote circulation due to inactivity or increased tension. STT can also be  used to help mobilise scar tissue, thereby preventing recurrence of injury or inflammation.

Myofascial Dry Needling (MDN)


Use of solid needles  for the specific purpose of treating pain and dysfunction in the body’s myofascial system. MDN is based on Western medicines  anatomical and neurophysiological principles, with a central focus on treating Myofascial Trigger points located within the muscular and fascial systems of the body . It is a scientifically valid clinical treatment method.

Corrective Exercise and Advice

Rehabilitative exercises prescribed to correct postural abnormalities and or muscle dysfunction. Myotherapists will provide patients with advice on injury prevention, and how they can improve their current condition to promote good health.

Move Muscle Training provides one on one and two on one personal training sessions at our rehab studio at Japser Health. individualised programs are developed for clients and run by a Registered Exercise Professional. We will guide clients to reach their goals and get them moving. Its not just about exercise it’s about lifestyle.

Initial consultation includes a thorough assessment followed by an individualised program being prescribed specific to your needs.

Mat Pilates

Small Group and Private Pilates

Improve core stability, improve and maintain posture, condition muscles of the whole body.  We focus on correct muscle activation and control. Ideal for beginners though to more experienced participants. Classes are run by a certified Pilates & Exercise Professional.

Mat Pilates classes are run on Tuesday 6.00pm-6.45pm

Thursday 12.00pm-12.45pm

 

Classes are capped at a maximum of 4 participants to ensure the instructor can continuously monitor technique, to ensure you get the best out of the class. 

Mats are provided however you can bring your own.
